Stuck on the loading window

hi sorry to bother you guys i have been working happily with pd12 for awhile now and each time i try to open it since today it has just hung on the loading window (circles are still rotating) i updated it to 2930 a few days ago and it was working fine then, only thing that has changed is i updated my version of nero

Thanks for the DXdiag.txt file.

Do you have two Graphics cards? I see two different resolutions, 1280x720 and 1920x1080.

If not, you need to uninstall the graphics driver and then install the latest from AMD.
You graphics driver seems to be up to date. But it looks like you have two installed.

I doubt Nero has anything to do with Powerdirector unless you also have the Nero Video editor.

ahhh its one card but outputting to 2 monitors
no video editor just nero burning rom

It is set to two different resolutions.

I do not know if that will have any effect on Powerdirector hanging on the opening window.
Do you get any error messages?

Go to QuickTime download and download and install the latest version.
QuickTime is an important component of Powerdirector.

If the installer says there is a previous version, say yes to removal.

Watch for Extras.

thx carl
yes it's set to different resolutions for each monitor (different brands) it switches between the 2 flawlessly (i drag some vids onto the bigger screen to preview them) been using pd12 for a few months now and it's been perfect till today just updated quicktime (was up to date so did a repair just incase anything was out of place)
if i get time 2nt ill uninstall nero as im running out of ideas and i need pd12 to be working so i can finish my work! thax again

An uninstall/reboot/reinstall of PDR12 may correct the issue.

i uninstalled and rebooted 3 times and it seems third times the charm!

3x's, wow! I suspected a file overwrite took place. You may find the next time you use Nero and then PDR12 you'll have some sort of software conflict (in the burn process with one of them, but maybe not also). I have passed the info onto CyberLink. Thanks for the update, happy editing.
