Hi.
Definitely very easy question, but not for me
I have searched from Youtube, tried with PD (Modify>Mask), but not much lack so far...
Question: how to do those 2 effects?
Effects, what I want to do (video clip is not mine): http://youtu.be/UJh0QKnAahc

Maybe someone has time and makes a small tutorial? Also those trasitions from triplex to 2 and 1 would be interensting
Or maybe already such tutorial is in YT, I just didnt find it?
Help needed.
P.S. have understand, that first I need custom mask (done with Paint.net).

I saw the video and found it easy to make it basically uses a mask rectangle in each video.
In PD12, you add each video on a track, apply the mask to each rectangle 1, uncheck the box aspect ratio, so you get the desired format, select the area of the video that should be shown.
Do this for each video, then straight in preview resizes each video to take his place on the screen.

Quickly made a simple sample, look at the clip http://youtu.be/3qpyee2nJQs

Once created and saved the project.
You can use this design for new videos, "rename to the same name."
If you need to adjust the image to the rectangle.

Hi,
thank you very much for replying, but YouTube says that "Video is removed"
Can you upload it once again? PowerDirector 17. Windows 10

I assume you already checked the Magic Style (Alt + F4) does not fit what you want.
The way we show is to make the clip manually.
You can use masks with tranparentes rectangles to facilitate engagement of each video on your square.
