Hi guys, Im trying to play 7.1 dts hd ma but the receiver wont recongnize what powerdvd is saying. I have powerdvd14 ultra, a muteki ht-m7 receiver, every hdmi cable is 1.4, the windows OS is setted to 7.1 audio and i have a gtx 680 (wich is cappable of playing this kind of content).
Ive readed that selecting "Non-decoded high-definition audio to external device" is the solution. I can select it when im playing no content. But as soon I play a bluray it selects the software decoder automatically, and if I select "non decoded dolby/dts" it goes in 5.1 audio.
I not even know if I explained myself right. Im from ARgentina, so this is not my native lenguage, sorry for that.

If anyone can trow a bone here, ill be glad.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Julics,
as far as I can see from the M7 spec, it does not Support DTS-HD-MA or Dolby TrueHD formats, therefore PowerDVD cannot bitstream those formats to your amp

is this you amp:

I have that model, but it does not specify the codecs that it can handle (ive got the south american version of it)

I have an Onkyo TX-NR609 which DOES support DTS HD Master audio and get no sound with .m2ts files with DTS HD Master audio soundtracks when trying to play them. I also have Power DVD 13 and with that I am able to play these files with their DTS HD Master audio sound without any problems.
