The Novice is here again. Can you tell me the proper (flow) way to render video. It seems that when I am in the edit mode and trying to edit my video, it goes into rendering mode automatically without any action from me. Is this normal and am I completely off base. Thanks for any advice, Wil

Do you have a NVidia video Card?

Have you installed the latest Patch for Powerdirector 12?

It is a known problem with some NVidia Drivers.
Check the NVidia web site for the latest WHQL driver, NO beta.

Answer to your question "Is it normal?", No it is not normal.

You can pre-render sections by choice, select the area with the orange tab on the side of the scrubber, Render Preview.

The correct way to render (Produce) a video is click the Produce tab at the top of the interface. Choose your video format and resolution.
