Why no Auto resume for BR Discs?

I upgraded from ver 11 which had the resume for BR Discs.. Now its not available, only DVD's will resume.. I want to know WHY? What is the exact reason that such a great feature was removed from a product that focuses on BR discs??..Will there be a patch to address this issue?

Can you check the auto resume setting if it's disabled? Just click on the settings button. Windows 7, i3, 4GB RAM.

It's enabled, It even states in the Manuel that auto resume is only for DVD. it was taken out after ver 11 or 12. I just want to know the reason.. I also want the option to have it back.. or this is the last upgrade I will pay for..
