I could see this was a problem last year, but thought they got the problem resolved. Well, it's back. When I talk to a "Support" person at Cyberlink, I find out I'm suppose to send information to them that I don't even have.
Power Director 12 is about a worthless POS!!! The only thing worse is their Customer Service and Support. I will talk bad about them every chance I get.

Same here, very disappointed with PD 12, it`s just getting worst, sounds good only on the paper. lag just unbelievable in preview, yesterday crush around 10 times in hour, absolutely useless after all update, feel sorry for wasted money. Using HP workstation 8760w QM2760 16gb ram , firepro 5950 OWC SSD, have tried Corel video X7 laptop is flying with 173mbs bit rate video, rendering came 10 time faster, PD could`t render at all in mpeg 2,

Newtman1: We are all volunteers here. We are not Cyberlink employees. I understand that you are frustrated with the program. If you would describe what the issues are that you are having and attach requested information like a dxdiag file (instructions in a sticky at the top of the forum), we will endeavor to help you out to the best of our respective abilities.

Trashing the product is not really going to help us to resolve your issue. Most of us are very happy with PD12. Of course, it is not perfect, but there are always work arounds and waiting for the next patch for problems that have been replicated and that are due to program bugs or limitations.

CL Product Support does have slow response times and many have reported their dissatisfaction with the support received. I can't comment on that because I have been able to resolve any issues that I have had over the years with the help of the incredible folks on this Forum.

If you want to work with us to help, great; otherwise, you are probably well advised to find another program that works for you and your PC configuration.

Have a great day.

You are correct and that is exactly what I did. The vendor that sold me the program is refunding my money and I am going to find another program.
I wasn't trashing you guys, just the program.
