audio problems in AD 3 (does not work properly)

Hello all... I just installed Audio Director 3 , .......when I take an audio clip from PD, insert it in AD to edit it, 3 things happen , 1- it freezes (3-4 sec) 2 -when I try to move the cursor anywhere on the audio clip it does not respond ,3- it minimizes and maximizes the window (by itself).
Any ideas....thanks ( by the way I'm trying to figure out how to paste info about my system on here ...bare with me ).
I think I got it .....please confirm if I did ok
