Hi,
I'd like to do one effect, but dont know how.
I want to take (let's say) 3 different video clips, from eatch cut off the middle part and put those cutted clips in one.
Example: here are the original clips:

And here's the final result, what I want:


PowerDirector 17. Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 (8M Cache, up to 3.90 GHz); Hard Disk: SSD 250Gb + SSD 500GB.

Hi

This is called Masking and is quite easy to do.

Put your 3 video clips on 3 separate tracks.

Use the Modify button and use the Mask Tab to mask out the areas you don't need (uncheck Aspect Ratio). You can move your video around by going back to the Properties Tab.

There are lots of tutorials on Youtube.

Here's one showing the basics of masking
