Hello Forum,
I have followed the suggested links and read the solutions posted. The majority of these ‘solutions’ do not pertain to my problem; eg. “Inserted disc is damaged”, Size of data to be burned exceeds free disc space”, “Compatibility between burner & disc”, etc. My code is up to date with the latest CyberLink updates. As for using the CyberLink software “Power2Go Essential” as a burning alternative, the application does not offer a BluRay burn option, only DVD. I have split the file in half to eliminate the possibility of trying to burn too large a file. I even produced a MPEG-2 file (using PD) of my data, still will not complete a burn. PowerDirector gets to about 85% done before it stops with the error “eEB191087”.
I am at the point where I believe that CyberLink /PowerDirector does not function as advertised. We’re not sending a satellite into orbit, we’re simply burning a file (generated by PowerDirector) to a disc! I would think that CyberLink would look into some of these Forum posts and fix their code, instead of relying on member solutions / workarounds and / or having to purchase newer versions of their product!
