Clips will not save to disc?

Hi all, when I have downloaded my clips to my pc from my Panasonic SDR-H60 I would like to save them to disc before I start to edit them
They will show up as files ready to save to disc but when I put a disc in my pc the files will not down load,Any ideas.

File extension/type not recognised by the disc writing software.
