Video lags behind audio

Hello Everybody

I noticed recently that my sometimes randomly starts lagging behind my audio, here's some basic information about the video files I use and my computer:

Video files:
Type: AVI
Codec: Fraps
Size: 4GB
External drive: Yes

Computer
RAM: 12GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
GPU: GeForce GTX 460
GPU Driver: 314.22 (Newer ones crash the GPU)
CPU: Intel I7 870 @ 2.93GHz

I recall mention of FRAPS issues with PD. Try another capture utility, such as OCam or CamStudio (both free).

Steer clear of Mp3 audio, which can lead to sync woes.

I think I found the problem: It only does this since I updated it. It kept showing me a message: 'Update'. So I updated it. ais there a way to uninstall the update and just get a clean version of powerdirector?
