I have been looking for a better way to convert 8mm and s8mm film. Then I render and process it with (now) Powerdirector 12.

I have run across the Retro-8 film transfer machine made by moviestuff.tv.

Looks like a great solution.

Has anyone used this process for converting 8mm and s88 film for video processing?

Thanks,

Alan

We do not really delve into this subject here, but I think you'll be OK.
Can you get a sample file from the usb device? No editing, no nuthin', just a sample file that is created by the usb capture.

Yes. I can send to them a sample 8mm film to convert they put it on a disk drive I would include then send it back to me to review.

Seems to be a hot item for conversion people.

Problem is, I need to build a 64 bit computer to run their software.

My 32 bit one with 4 processors and 8gb ram won't do it.

That is how it goes in this field.
