Trim/Stretch clips without affecting the rest

I'm using PowerDirector 9 and I've never figured out how to trim or stretch a clip without messing up the timing of all the rest of the project.
It was never really a big issue, but I'm working on a music video where I'm trying to line up live performances with a studio recording.

Any help would be appreciated.

Preferences > Editing > Link all tracks when moving....
