An interesting problem you've come across. I have just done a quick test with 17 clips all unlinked with 8 deleted using Shift+Delete. I didn't have a crash.
1. Were all the clips from the same source?
2. What were the clip extensions? MediaInfo on the clips please Part J in the guide.
3. Can you please provide a screenshot of the project - Edit Workspace?
4. A diagnostic of your PC please. Part B in the guide.
5. Have you applied the latest PDR12 beta patch 2405? Please do so.

I made another test with 14 clips. I was able to delete. Wonder what happened earlier .
Did not want to update beta patch. Will wait till they release proper version.
