How do I go about synchronizing two tracks on Audio Director 4? Both tracks include the same vocals. Is there any way to do it precisely?

Hello RUb,

Welcome to the ADR forum

Hopefully, the tracks were recorded at the same performance/time. If not, any audio editor will be up against it. Too many variables.

The best way I know how to sync two tracks is to import them into the MIX module. Each audio clip can be inserted in its own track & synced visually (by waveform). This is much easier to do if you use the zoom and tools.

Other forum members may be able to offer different possibilities.

In the screenshot below, clip 2 started recording a few beats later than the clip in track 1. Clip 2 has been shifted along till the waveforms match (timeline zoomed in). Of course, the audio preview is more accurate.

Do you happen to be a PowerDirector user? The Multi-Cam feature allows very easy audio synching.
