Whenever I move clips around or delete them in the timeline and there is purposely left a gap, on playback there is a ghost of the deleted clip in the gap area or overlayed on the new clip. This happens whether it is a video or still image having been deleted or moved. I did not have this problem in other versions of PD. I remove/delete the clip and close the gap, but the ghost image still plays over the other clips.

Just curious, but do you have a VOB video file in your timeline anywhere? I've seen odd things happen with a VOB in the neighborhood. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Did you try saving your project, clear your temp files in Preferences then shut down PD and restart it?

HI,
I think the problem may be to do with the speed of your processor not carrying out your instructional changes fast enough for the program. RobAC, has mentioned a simple solution to the problem.

1. Are you editing HD video? Barry's asked about VOB files, I haven't seen the same in VOB, could be a qwerk with VOB's also.
2. Do you edit Shadow Edit files or full HD in the tracks?
3. Please provide a screenshot of your project, Edit Workspace. See guide, Part E & F.
4. Please provide a full diagnostic of your PC. See Guide Part A & B please.
