SRVT doesn't render fade transition correctly

I've found a problem with how SVRT treats fades vs. hardware video encoding (HVE). I have a pre-produced .m2ts video that I want to fade into a new .mts clip. Both are 1920x1080/60p. If I produce the combined video with HVE, everything looks correct and the fade between the two clips is seamless.

If I produce using SRVT, the 1st clip goes completely dark just as the second one fades in. I have attached screen grabs for both from VLC taken at the 11 second mark.

I have also uploaded the project files and the two produced files to my SkyDrive folder, so anyone can download them and try to replicate this issue. I used the AVC 1920x1080/60p (28Mbps) setting to produce each video, and each takes about 20 seconds to produce on my machine. The project's timeline setting should also be set to 60 FPS (NTSC).

Does anyone else have this problem?
