In the create disc module, final output, on my system there is a greyed out 'enable hardware video encoder' check box

Any suggestions about the requirements to enable this?

Not critical as fairly fast already, but more speed always good! Director Suite 365

There is a setting in Preferences > Hardware Acceleration that may enable. It is dependant on your video card capabilities.

But I do not recommend you use the 'enable hardware video encoder', even if you get the option enabled.

In my experience that check box causes big problems for the Create Disk module in finishing the task. PD is prone to hang when hardware video encoder is checked.

Thanks Carl, will leave it alone then!

(Can see that it does become an option when selecting some of the blue ray formats, which I don't use) Director Suite 365
