Sent my audio clip from PowerDirector 12 to AudioDirector 4 to boost volume and denoise. Sent back to PD12 and the clip is one second shorter than the original. Anyone else experiencing this phenomenon?

Hello HeFed,

I haven't been able to replicate the issue here, though testing has unearthed some other inconsistencies.

I've tested WAV, MP3, WMA and MPEG-4 (video) files and have found the returned WAV file from ADR to be consistent with the original.

An minor odd thing happened with a WMA file. In PD12 its duration displayed as 05:48:00. When I sent it to ADR, it displayed as 05:47:974 (which is only 26 milliseconds different). After adjustment, back in PD12, it displayed as 5:48:00. That's probably down to the difference in timecode accuracy between the two.

What adjustments did you make in ADR? Could you attach a sample of your audio file?

Now I can't get it to replicate either. Might have been a temporary glitch of some sort, though I was able to reproduce it several times during my edit session yesterday. I'll continue to monitor it. Thanks for trying on your side, PIX.
