Windows 8.1 Compatible

When I tried PowerDirector 12 on Win 8.1 earlier it did not work. Well at least the producing part would not work but this was beta Windows. With the official Windows version now available, is there any reason to believe it would work now?

Worked fine with the Preview for me and works fine with rtm.
Just make sure it is all up to date. PD12 Ultimate Suite (upgrade from PD11 Ultimate). PhotoDirector 5. PowerDVD13. YouCam 5.

I have a similar problem. I just downloaded Win8.1. When I started to "Produce" my video, a window popped up giving my an "Encoding error". Is there something I can do about this?

I went from windows 8 to 8.1 without issue.

I did make sure I had the latest drivers/updates issued for everything loaded in my computer.

Cody - what video card do you have? Nvidia? Could your issue be related to this - http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/30914.page

I run 8.1 and never had any issues, though is Radeon GPU.

I have nvidia GPU's and they are fine on 8.1 with PD PD 64 Bit-Win10 64 Bit-32GB RAM-80TB HDD
