Hi, I created an Intro video in PD12 Ultimate. when I go to 'Produce' and select Director Zone I go through the sequence of category etc., but when I select 'Start' I get a message box to Authorize..and accept it I then get a Message saying my Google account is not linked to Director Zone.
I have tried to set up the link but to no avail....
Need help setting things up....maybe the linking doesn't like Canadian Address' LoL

Director zone needs a user account and Youtube needs a User account.

You go to each one and create your account if you do not already have one.
Videos on Director Zone are actually on Youtube.

In Powerdirector there is a Signin to Director Zone on top of the PD user interface in the Produce module.

To upload to both Youtube and Director Zone you must be logged into both. Produce > online > Youtube.

Hi Carl312,
Yes I have both but still get the messages as shown, I have gone to both My youtube account and my Director Zone account and searched on "linking' them but got no-where. Thanks for the information and prompt reply..If you click on the link in my signature GranPap64 it takes you to my you Tube stuff but from Power Director I cannot upload to it for some reason.

There have been times when other people had trouble connecting to Youtube via Powerdirector.

I would suggest that you write a ticket to support about your problem.

I assume that if you login to your youtube account, you can upload video via the youtube upload.
If you must have your video and timeline appear on Director Zone the only way is via Powerdirector Youtube interface.

I have admit that I have not used PD 12's Youtube upload, The last time I used the Powerdirector Youtube unload was in PD9.
