Have subtitles turned on by default and default value set to "on" in a DVD menu

I've created a photo slideshow and have added subtitles (photo captions) to numerous photos. I'd like the default subtitles value to be turned on, so that the subtitles will display automatically when "Play" is clicked without having to navigate to the Subtitles menu and picking "On."

And I'd like the default highlighted subtitle option to "On" rather than "Off."

Are either or both of these options possible?

Thanks,

Yes, it is possible.

In the Subtitle room you can make subtitles imprinted on the video (no Subtile to be turned on/off).

If you choose the subtitle for disk a subtitle item is added to the disk menu, the default for subtile appearing is OFF.

If you choose the imprint on video the subtile is visible all the time (for the length of the duration).
No subtitle item on the disk menu.

Carl312,

Thanks for the information. I'll live with having to turn subtitles on and off. I don't want the subtitles to be imprinted on the slideshow. I like the option of viewing the photos without the captions.
