Improving video snapshot for slideshow

Want to create a slideshow extracting snapshot from many video.

Obviously the resolution it's not as a picture and also there is some bloor from the movement.

There are any way I can improve the appearance? The videos come from a commercial camcorder, in FullHD 6MB.

Here not know why PD extract pictures in smaller size than the video (SD).
I Disable Use original size the video snapshot Whenever possible image quality
Path, Menu Edit / Preferences ... / File
Now photos have size 1920x1080, even for 720x480 video, it does not improve the picture, but I think it is better to refine improvements. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
