Yes, using PowerDirector 11

Place wedding video on track one and move your scrubber to the point that you would like to take a snapshot.

In the preview area, there is a camera icon. Press that and a still photo of your video at that frame will be added to your media room.

Take that still photo and put it on track two at the exact spot you created the still from. In order to get this in the exact spot, I would take and split your video (in the first step above) at the spot you took your snapshot. Set the duration you would like the snapshot to be displayed for.

Then click the modify button to resize it at its starting point, add motion to it using the motion tab or use key frames to create custom motion. Also go to the end duration and resize it again to create the shrinking effect you are after.

As for the sound effect and flash, you should be able to find the click effect in a .wav on the web. The flash effect I'm not too sure on where to get it but someone here will point you in the right direction

I've simplified the directions here somewhat. It will take some learning on your end but that learning will pay dividends down the road.

I was thinking that as far as the 'flash' -- perhaps some sort of 'transition' might mimic what I was looking for. More to think on that one. Thanks again!

I added this before I saw that someone else had replied. Much of it is the same.

I did not do the "shutter" audio. Because I wanted the audio of the video to be heard.

Wow, I thought that this would be easy because I thought that a flash would be a standard effect. It may be but I can'r find it.

What I did was to use the preview screen to capture an image and saved it. I then downloaded "PhotoBlitz" from the director zone. I split the video at the spot where I took the image. I inserted the photo blitz at the split (move the movie to the right. I set the blitz to 15 frames (1/2 second. I added the image to a second video track and adjusted it to come in near where the flash was. That woked. See image attached.

I sometimes do things the hard way !

I am confused about something though -- the visual you gave makes it look like a gap (of silence) is created in the audio and the picture inserted.

Yet you indicated you weren't using a shutter effect because "Because I wanted the audio of the video to be heard"

I'm definiately wanting continuity in audio and the back-ground video... will need to play a bit.

I did find the particle effect you mentioned -- had to search on "Photo Blitz" with a space to find it {for others looking for it} -- that does look like what I'm after!

For a flash, I just add a white color board for barely a moment, (quick fade in/slower fade out), and an old fashioned black-powder whoomph sound, but a shutter sound works just as well. I do like the photo blitz. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

The pause is for about 1/2 of a second and people are looking at the"flash' so they don't notice the short silence. .
