Well I responded to the replacement offer, it was the CL customer connection. Submitted all requested data.
Their reply gave a US phone number, called that and was told that not they but CL replaces the defective disc's.
So unfortunately, the usual run around from CL.
So I just gave up, since with the help of the forum I was able to use PD11.

In a way this is funny too.

Hi Eugene,
Just so you know - I did take the matter seriously (my laughter, a shock laugh rather than a guffaw laugh) and I did refer the situation to CyberLink. CyberLink's ".... guideline is to offer customer with new disc when customer provide proof of purchase", the "....agent must be new".

The latest versions of Photo Director has definitely evolved into a cool picture editing prgm.

I am already invested in a couple different different mid & pro paint / picture prgms otherwise I would definitely switch.
The ability to just click over from PD, do picture edits then back to PD is a neat integration.

(The same reason I like the integration of PD with Audio Director & Color Director in the Ultimate Suite package.)
