If you're new to editing (as well as PD), it's a good idea to begin with a simple project like:
- a day at the zoo, beach, park, historical site, car races, city, caves, river, harbour... just a "record" of the day/event
- a theme like boats, faces, sunlight & shadows, flowers, sky... a collection of clips & images about something you're interested in
A video that "tells a story" takes a lot more planning, creativity & forward thinking.
