Looks good on Cyberlink website and sounds like a good product in your video clips. I hope it can live up to the expectations. Can PD6 and PD7 coexist or must I uninstall PD6?

Hi JL,

Unfortunatly it would be necessary to uninstall PD6 before installing PD7

Looks Good! However, I feel anybody that purchased PD 6 during the past 12 Months should get a better deal than full retail??

Hi Chris,

I had the same problem with upgrading PD5 Premium to PD6, I had only had PD5 Premium 3 months when PD6 was released.

The upgrade prices from PD6 to PD7 seem very reasonable, especially if you upgrade to PD7 Ultra, upgrade price $59.95, full price $119.95, I wonder if the upgrade price is correct, appears to be a big price saving, $60 as against a $20 saving if you upgrade to PD7 Deluxe

Regards

Thomas,

The previous rule has been - if you purchase a version and within one month of that purchase a new version is released then CyberLink will provide you with the new version.

Please contact customer support and specifically state the situation and quote your on-line invoice reference.

Are *.pds files created in PD6 totally compatible with PD7?

Where did you get this price--I only saw $149.00 with no mention of an upgrade price.

I've just upgraded to PD7. The YouTube production interface has been revamped most sensibly and now works on a PC where PD6 would not.

It's early days but indications are that it's a worthwhile upgrade.
