Hey Guys & Gals, just installed PD11 Ultra (Had PD eight) I understand there are updates and patches for problems, but I'm not sure I need the full "Array" of do-hickeies, patches, plugs etc.. that more experienced editors must have.

History, I am not too tech savvy of a person, my computer should be capable of handling program (If not I'll buy one that is). I am a business owner that is looking to connect with customers through youtube with decently produced video segments of our services.

I have already read where PD11 has had it's share of of bugs but purchased it anyway because I was familiar PD8, hate change.

So what's my next move.....Lead And I will Follow.

Thanks very much!

Hi Guy -

It is a good idea to install the latest update build (just the latest one) from http://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdirector-ultra/patches_en_GB.html

Also, reinstall the latest version of Quicktime... http://www.apple.com/au/quicktime/download/

Once you start building a project, there are plenty of people who'll help you over any hiccups. Some members here make similar promo type videos for different companies.

Cheers - Tony
