Removing grid lines in finished product

Does someone know how to remove the grid lines in the final rendering? I have tried everything I know, unchecking snap to, panel reads "Grid Lines None", yet they still show up in the finished product. Any information will be helpful, thanks!

You are saying Grid lines, could they be interlacing lines instead?
Grid lines are both vertical and horizontal, interlacing artifacts are usually horizontal only.

A Screen shot would help and a diagnostic.
Maybe a link to the video if you have it on Youtube or other sharing site.

HI DTS,

Welcome to the forum. I tried to duplicate your specific problem but was unable to.

If I understand correctly, your saying the video was produced with the grid lines visible. When I used the sample files, grid lines showed up but when I produced the lines disappeared. Viewing the produced file, nothing but the video showed.

Maybe some of the other volunteers (editors) have ran across this problem so hang in there.

Could you post as an attachment, use post reply, a screenshot of your full work space, that may shed some light on the problem. Sorry for not being much help.

Thanks gents, I have a great screen cap of it, but have not mastered the technique of being able to share it here. I should mention it only occurs when adding effects.

If the file size is not too big, You can share here by:

Using the Postreply button, not the Quick Reply.
Blue Attachments button below the text box.

Or if you have a Youtube account, you can upload to your account and post a link to the video here.
Youtube works if the video in not private.

Here is the culprit in a screen cap. Are they indeed the grid lines? Thanks.

Those do not appear to be "Grid Lines" they are dots on the letters arranged in rows.

Is that the only place you have that effect?

Do you know what "Peg Board" looks like?
Peg Board is a fiber board product that you can put hooks in and mount tools on.

It looks to me the letters are stimulating that effect.

My PD10 only creates a 10X10 grid at the largest or smaller, depending on how you look at it, to me it looks like the image was zoomed in on and its the artifacts of a small image being made larger. Just an observation. if those are grid lines then it would have to be a setting of 36X40. Maybe Carl has seen this before.

That image is zoomed in on in order to see it better. They are definite squares, not just dots.

You say it only happens when you add effects. What effect or effects did you apply?

In order to try to duplicate what you are seeing it would help to know exactly how you created this. Did you use a title template to create this too? What were all the settings you used if it was a title. If you used a video can you upload a short 5-10 second sample?

It's hard to try to duplicate what you are seeing without first knowing what you used to get where you ended up.

Kevin

Okay, I'm realizing the only time this grid is showing is when the video is rendered in the AVI format. As long as I stick with MP4, I should be okay. Doesn't answer the question of what is happening, but I can live with it. Thanks for all your kind support and time and trouble. Much appreciated.
