Not a user yet but considering.
I have 18,000 pictures that date back to 1930's. Many are scanned so the picture date is not correct. Can I import and set the date? Can I use an approximate date like "CIR1930" or "June 1930"? Can I then search by these dates like pictures in 1930?

Hello Reeltripp,

Welcome to the forum.

When you import a batch of images into PhotoDirector, you can apply tags to the whole batch. In your case, if you had your images in folders by date (e.g. C.6.1932), you could import the folder and apply the tag to the whole folder of images.

In the PhotoDirector Library, you can sort images by tag or folder. That would help with cataloguing.

This tutorial will assist, I think. http://youtu.be/GqrFqxgPLk8
