Hello guys,

Can PD11 crop (freely) the video just a part of it? Crop only, no resize or croped aspect ratio.

PD can only crop in the aspect ratio of the project, in your case 16:9.

Hi Pinto,
The black edged surround you are attempting to remove from the video using the crop tool can be done. However, if you show the resulting video on a TV screen (flat screen) you will lose the same edged portion off the video. Cropping such a scene is a lose lose for a TV presentation.
Universal's copyright of the material (the example given) would apply here.
