I recently bought a Sony 3D camcorder and went on holiday with it.
I shot about 35Gb of 1080x1920 50i 3D footage (this is the only 3D shooting option the camcorder has)

I edited the footage using PD10 ultra, but hardly cut out anything, so it should still be above 30Gb, but when i try to create a 3D blu-ray, it tells me that my footage is only 13Gb this is less than half the original size and i'm wondering if it's going to look over compressed (i have not yet burnt a disc until i get some answers)

Another thing i noticed prior to creating a disc was in the Produce tab i get the option to save the footage as 1080x1920 50i
(24mps or standard) in 3D mode, but the whole native files from my camcorder need rendering, even though they are 1080x1920 50i

Can someone please tell me if this is normal or am i going wrong some where?

1) Which camcorder?
2) What format does it capture - mpg2 AVCHD, mov, MPO etc.?
3) How did you get the video on your computer?
4) Try burning to a blu ray rewritable to be really sure. .
