Video Color Change

Hi all!

I'm not sure if I am just completely missing something obvious, but I would really like to change the color of my video like in the picture. I can do it easily for pictures on photoshop, but I want the whole video to be red (or any other color) like the picture. I just can't seem to figure out how to do it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Amy-lynne -

You've probably discovered that you can't get that red "tinge" by using Fix/Enhance.

If you apply the Color Balance effect (in the EFFECTS room) to your video and bump up the red value it should work.

There's another effect, NewBlue Colorize, that creates the effect of a black and white image that has been colorized. The effect is under NewBlue Art Effects. You can have up to 3 colors, so for red, just make all 3 choices red. The effect has a Help button with more information.

Make sure to also try the NewBlue Duochrome effect.

The NewBlue Art Effects come with PowerDirector 11 Ultra.
