How to add a watermark in a movie made with PowerDirector???

I didn't find anything in ther Help menue..

Hello Phil,

I guess watermarks can be applied different ways.
What I usually do is making a small .png text image (transparent background), place it in it's own track
and just drag it along the video. (size it at preference)
I try, though, to choose color and opacity in a way which don't disturb the video flow too much.

Add the watermark graphic on a higher video track than the primary material.

Then select the watermark clip and click MODIFY. Lower OPACITY to achieve the desired effect.
Or do the same thing on the timeline by dragging the green horizontal line downwards.

Hi beruberu ,
The problem with adding a watermark throughout a video is you'll then need to render the whole video. SVRT wont be of any use. As you'd be altering every part, the video will take longer to process/produce. For short videos (for youtube and such) then the use of watermarking in my view is essential to preserve copyright. For a large video project you'd be better off not adding a watermark.
