Is there any way to crop the width of the video more than the height?

I'm doing it in the power tools section, there isn't such an option, maybe there's another way to do it? since the video clip of the speaker is just the portion of the screen, I would like to make it slimmer and taller the shape of the person, while on the right side could be texts or other stuff. been researching in other posts, but didn't find anything

If you overlay the images/text/video with your talking head video & mask it, you'll get what you're after. The image attached shows how.

I do not know if I understand right.
If so squeezing the image without cutting I disable the Maintain aspect ratio box, see picture.
