I have just made a small (30 min, 4GB) Blu Ray of a film I have made onto a BD disc.

I also burned the same Blu Ray files onto a DVD-R (it just fits the space) but my Graphics PC with PowerDVD 13 won't play this disc.

This is weird because my laptop (Win 7) has a copy of PowerDVD 9 and it plays the DVD with the Blu Ray files on it without any problem from the DVD-RW drive.

Why should my laptop copy of PowerDVD 9 play the disc and the faster Graphic PC with PowerDVD 13 not be able to play it.

When I close the BD drive in the PC, it loads the drive/title page - I press the start triangle - it starts to play and then immediately returns to the play screen. I get the same result when I load the DVD into the DVD drive.

I had expected to be able to play this disc when I installed PowerDVD 13 on the Graphics PC.

Any suggestions.
