Hello, how do I transfer my Custom Title templates from my PD 10 to my newly installed PD11?

Hi Alex -

You shouldn't have to do anything.

Your custom & downloaded titles (and other effects) should be available in your PD11 libraries. Check under the "Custom" dropdown.

They are stored in different folders so they're not removed during uninstalls.

Custom (Titles): C:\Users\UserName\Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\10.0
Downloaded: C:\Users\Public\CyberLink

Cheers - Tony

Tony, for some reason the PD 10 files did not transition into the PD 11 install. However, I did find them using the link you provided. They are listed under "My Titles". I will try to manually copy and past from PD 10 to PD 11.

Regards - Alex

Tony, a manual copy & paste worked.

Thanks - Alex

Alex -

I'm glad it worked.

That's odd. If your custom titles from PD10 are in the Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\10.0\My Titles folder they should show up in your PD11 library. Mine do.

Anyway - you've tricked the thing into responding properly!

Cheers - Tony

Hi Alex K ,
Manually backing up data located in My Documents/CyberLink is a good policy to have. I recently moved all my Custom Menus, MyTitles, MyPiPs etc from one computer to another for PDR11 to access.

Retaining a backup of past creations is useful.
