powerdirector 6 slow start

I have uninstalled and re-installed the latest edition and it still takes nearly 10 minutes to load under vista sp2. exactly the same as under original Vista.

dualboot XP and Vista
dual core 2.60gig
3 gig ddr ram
250 gigs free on each hard disk c:d:
the program if used under XP loas immediately, in seconds.

Is this a known problem as I would like to fully migrate to Vista

I have tried the Vista test and it won't run on my machine, I have no Idea what is wrong
