In PD 10, under File/Project Properties there are two fields: Title and Comments. I can enter stuff in them and save the .PDS. However, these entries do not show up in Windows Explorer under Comments and Titles. Are they not a part of the file metadata? How can I make them display in WE? (I have Windows 7).

I'd like to identify the various versions as, e.g. Take 1, Take 2, when I look at the Windows Explorer folder. Custom computer: 8 processors, 16G Ram, ,C: drive 250G solid state. F: (Scratch drive) 2x 500Gb raid (0). G: (Data drive) 2Tb raid (1)

If you use Save As of the project file you can give the project a useful name. You can use the Take 1, Take 2 if you wish.

It is recommended to use Save As 001.pds, 002.pds each time you make changes in the project. You can go back to a previous edit at anytime.

Thanks Carl. I 'll try that. So the Comments and Titles fields are purely internal to PD and not part of the Windows metadata. Custom computer: 8 processors, 16G Ram, ,C: drive 250G solid state. F: (Scratch drive) 2x 500Gb raid (0). G: (Data drive) 2Tb raid (1)

I think the information written in, File / Project Properties are for use within the PD.
I usually add short direct information on the project name. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
SSD SUV400S37240G / 2-HD WD 1TB
AMD Radeon R9 270 / AOC M2470SWD
Windows 7-64 / PD16 Ultimate
