For those of you, using SonicFire Pro, as I do, in conjunction with PD11, there is a new update available to take it to Version 5.8. For $29.95, you get the update and a music package called "Core Evolution." Of course, this music will also be available in your version of PD11, once installed in SonicFire Pro. You might have to rebuild your PD11 SS database to have it appear, but I didn't have to.

Submitted for the information of PD11 and SFP users. Have a great day.

Phil,

I also find SonicFire PRO a very useful addition to PD. (Still want a dedicated plugin though for more expanded features / function.)

I have tried to find any significant difference that this update offers from my current version 5.7 and if it is worth the cost.

Rob:

Click on the link below and then on the "What's New in 5.8" red button in the left top third of the screen.

Seems it is easier to purchase music, but not a lot of significant changes. For the upgrade price of $29.95, I figured it was worth the "free" Core Evolutions music. Haven't checked the album out yet, so can't comment.

If I have "bent" any of the rules by discussing SonicFire, my defense will be that SmartSound is integrated into PD, and there are certain things you can just do better, and with more reliable results, within SFP, and then import the .wav file into PD. That said, I apologize if I have breached forum etiquette.

Have a great day.

Hi garioch7,
All very much a "linked" program, with SmartSound file use and PDR. The thread is in a "blurred area" in my view. All related to the production of video with PDR. Blurred is better to be in than a "grey area" and far better than being in a "black and white one", ha ha,
I don't have a problem with this thread Phil.

Thanks, Dafydd. I have learned a lot on this Forum over the past years and would hate to be guilty of violating forum rules and losing access.

Have a great day.

I dream of the day when the two programs agree to properly integrate, I've not had any correspondence with SS buddies lately, but I may give a nudge. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
