Soooo slow editing...
[Post New]
I really do understand those who rather stick to other programs after they've tested the trial for Power Director. I just did a test where I first edited a movie in Power Director and then did the same one in another movie editor. *cough* vegas *cough*

Power Director is by far the fastest there is in rendering movies but the slow editing actually made the overall process take much longer. I think it's those darn "Content aware" and "Magic movie tools" that slow things down. I'm perfectly capable of editing my own movie, thanks.

Please, anyone, tell me they've fixed this in the next version! Without lying.

If you do not USE Content aware or MM tools, they have no affect on the editing process, or computer resources.
Slow editing may be a result of many things. I know people who SWEAR by Corel, yet every mouse-click, for me, was painfully slow to respond, click...wait....click...wait...yet I have never had that with Cyberlink. Never tried Vegas.
As for lying, we have no financial interest in these products, we are volunteers.
So...not sure where to go with your post now. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

SweDuck75 I don't use "Content aware" and "Magic movie tools". I have look at them a lot of my editing has been with two camera views and magic movie wizard did not do a good job with it. I use PD 11 and do my own editing. I love PD and have got 3 people to buy it in the last few months that are learning video editing and one has used other programs and likes PD.
