A very basic question. I am half way through creating a project and I want to show it to some other people on a disc. Can I create s disc from the timeline data that I have assembled thus far, and still retain the timeline material to continue with editing and adding t the project, i.e. once a have created a disc can I then go back to the edit mode, or is my timeline wiped in the process?

Hi Michael,

Your question is very similar to one asked recently (Well, it may have been on the PD11 forum; I can't remember or find it now).

Saving your project under another name should be your solution. You will thus preserve your original project, under the original name, while being able to remove whatever is necessary to produce its interim stage under the new name...

Brilliant Jirka. I might have thought of that myself, but I didn't. Thank you for the prompt and helpful response.

You can use Pack Project to be able to send or save your entire project.

File > Export > Pack project Materials.

Pack project only saves what is on the timeline. If you want other files you have in the library, just copy those files to the packed project folder. They will then be available if you want them.

Edit: correct spelling

I understand that you finished your project, recorded on disc.
Later they return to the same project, maybe to make changes.
Just do not delete anything which is part of its design, audio, photo, video and progect.
Note: When you have temporary files that are created during the project, remain for 30 days in the temporary folder of PD. (Standard time)
