Hi,
There is an update to colordirector on Cyberlink page, dated 2013-04-02 2714 I downloaded it but it won't run...says I don't have permissions..I am the 'User' with all permissions.
disabled Virus also and still no luck.
Suggestions welcome

Thank you for letting forum members know about the update patch for ColorDirector - 2714. I wasn't aware myself till just now!

I'm afraid I don't have any useful suggestions for you. The downloader/installer ran without a hitch here.

You would have read in the PowerDirector forum that issues with the CLDownloader process have been reported many times. As I understand it, CyberLink is trying to determine the cause of the problem & rectify it. The PD forum moderator has suggested that members contact Customer Support with details.

I trust the issue is resolved soon.

Thanks for the reply..I did read other posts regarding the downloader problem, but thought thatwas just Power Director issue...hope it gets resolved soon..

Thanks for posting the note about the new update to ColorDirector. I had no problems with the downloader working properly with this patch or any of my PD11 patches.

I am wondering, because it happened to me before with another program update for a different non-CL product, whether you have tried saving the file, right-clicking the patch when it is downloaded, clicking "Properties" at the bottom of the right-click list, and selecting "Unblock." That did solve an update problem for me with the different program update, and I now do that regularly with all programs and updates that I install, including this update.

Just a thought. Can't hurt. Have a great day.
