New patch makes program un-openable! Please Help!

I downloaded the patch and now powerdirector 11 will not open it tells me that componts are missing and that I must re-install the program. Is there a quick fix to this? or a way around it. I upload videos for videgames and this is a major set back. Please help

win8. I fixed it by installing the old patch. How that worked I don't know... But this issue should be fixed.

Going back to 2516 fixes it.
CL tech support simply ignored the time taken by me to
carefully explain the problem to them and told me to re install even after I had told them I had done so already, 3 times!

PD11 is a good cocktail, but needs to be shaken and stirred well\ by its dispenser before use

I run Win8Pro and don't have any issues with the latest patch.
