Trouble Again - SOLVED!
[Post New]
Hi All...

Hope someone has the answer to my newest delema. I start a bit over a year ago with director 9. In the beginning I had trouble saving high def in .mov format. The produced videos would come out low res with a shimmering to them.

I fought with this for a couple weeks, seeking an answer and finally found one. Only problem is, I don't remember what it is. All was well. Later I upgraded to Power Director 11, and all was still well.

Reciently, I upgraded to Power Director Ultra so I could produce videos professionally and now I'm back to the same problem. Not only that, but I can't go back to saving .mov using PD 9 since loading Power Director Ultra seemed to wipe PD 9 off my computer.

Any idea why hi def video saved in .mov format would be low format shimmery video that isn't fit to keep or show anywhere?

I have to be able to save in high quality .mov format as it's what's required for upload to pond5.com.

Is there a way to search all the threads I've started. I tried searching my name but it only took me back a few months. I need to go back a year or more to find the old thread where I had this same problem.

Hi Dustie -

If you click on Profile, at the bottom of any of your posts, you'll find a list of topics you started & threads you've posted.

Maybe the suggestion you're searching for is here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/15/21814.page where Jeff (JL_JL) explained how to customise your .MOV profile

You probably have this page bookmarked, but http://www.pond5.com/document/video_requirements.html

Cheers - Tony

Thanks Tony! That's just what I was looking for. I only needed to do a new custom .mov profile. THANKS MUCH TONY...and also on sharing how to reach all my previous threads.
