How To Remove Or Delete A Completed Project
[Post New]
I have completed my photo project, made several backup DVD copies and Exported the file to my harddrive, which will last me a very long time. Is there a certain sequence I should follow to delete/remove the project from my hard drive so Power Director (11) won't search for it when I open the program? Do any written instructions exist - I can not find any in the manual.

Hi,
If you open Preferences (the gear icon) in there is a drop down in 'General' to manually delete the files...I think that is what you are after.

Thank You for your reply. I had seen that before but it only applies to "temp" files. I thought if there was a way to delete the project (.pds) and ALL associated files, it would be a clean delete with no stragglers that would confuse PD11. If nobody has had a problem, then I'll just delete the .pds files using Windows Explorer. Thanx again!!!

This topic may also be what you are looking for. It will remove projects found in your "recent" projects.
