Cropping - Adjust Aspect Ratio

Hey guys

I am trying to crop a clip and the aspect ratio looks fixed at 4:3...it certainly isn't 16:9.
1. How can I change this?
2. Is it just me or does this program have a mind of it's own that is bent on being a flippin pain in the ass.

It's like every simple thing I go to do is just a giant pain in the ass task. Please tell me there is a setting to turn this off.

Hi Jaycw7 ,
Try the following:
1. Open PDR
2. Select Preferences (cog icon top/middle)
3. Select Confirmation - and start unchecking the warning popups, see what I run with.
4. Select OK and close Preferences.

5. Go and select the Aspect Ratio 16:9 - top of screen.
6. Place Clip in track, select Power Tools/Video Crop and Aspect Ratio of 16:9 is maintained in the crop.

7. To Reset Clip Attributes where the clip isn't defined correctly or you wish to change.
8. Right click on video in track
9. Select Set Clip Attributes/Aspect Ratio
10. make a selection in Clip Aspect Ratio Settings
