I have the same issue with PDVD11, followed by a "select region" option which fails since for some reason I have zero changes left, and then finally an error 8000401f9; DLL error

Okay, I'm having the EXACT same problem as sicaire. It started today and came out of nowhere!
Only modification I've done to this system is install Microsoft's Platform Update (KB2670838) followed by installing Internet Explorer 10.
I'm thinking Internet Explorer ties into PowerDVD 12 in some shape or form, so I'm curious if there is a link here. Hopefully Cyberlink will address this new issue.

I'm currently "1" patch behind, so I'm going to attempt installing the new Build#2428.
However, I see the original poster already has this patch installed and has the same issue as I do.

PowerDVD Ultra 12.0.2118a.57
Windows 7 Ultimate Edition SP1 64-bit
Internet Explorer 10

So, after applying the latest patch Build#2428 the errors have all dissapeared and I am able to playback my Blu-rays. Turns out it was something else... perhaps it was the latest Java release by Oracle? Now to investigate why my copy of Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 5 is exhibiting a very similar issue. Looks like Oracle Java may be the culprit here.
