I am trying to create a menu to group my videos.

From the root menu I would like to show 4 different sections to go to. Section A, B, C,and D
Choosing one of those in the root menu would take you to the appropriate Title'Chapters Menu.
From the Title/Chapters Menu I could then go to the differnt clips listed on that page.

As it is now, from the root all I can do is PLAY or SCENES. Everything works fine in my Title/Chapters menu.

There doesnt seem to be much detail in the help file. Is there a actual PDF manual that goes more deeply into these things?

Again, thanks

Thanks for your response but the manual doesnt go into that much detail. Not on the menus and not on the default background music. I am glad the forum is here!

There is only so much you can change or do in the Powerdirector menu system.

My advice is to try what you are wanting to do, if it does not work, try something else.

Powerdirector menu system is a three tier system.
Main (Root) page
Scenes page(s) (the number depends on the number of Chapters or Titles)
Subtitle page if you have Subtitles for Disk in the Edit module.

The only help I have seen for Menu design is an old one, PD7:

There have been a few changes since that manual was written, the basics are the same.
