hey everyone,

I am creating a video using a custom audio track. Kind of like a narrative of the timeline. I have to split it up to make it fit with the visual images and videos on the timeline, but when i do, the first part of the split will play, but the rest wont start playing till almost half way through the clip. I dont understand. What should i do. I have tried dropping the clip into different audion spots on the timeline, and it doesnt change. Ive even deleted it and totally redid it, but to no avail. Can some one shed some light on this situation!

Thanks

Stephen

Hi Stephen -

Without knowing what might be causing the issue, there's a way to put it right.

Once your narration track is absolutely right, go to Produce & select an audio only format.

Next, replace the current split audio track with the new produced file.

Have to do it often, myself.

Cheers - Tony

Wait a second, on second thought, how do i only select that specific track when i have multiple audio tracks on the timeline (background music ect.) would i produce an audio track of the whole timeline - meaning whatever audio is on there? ill start playing around with it but if you could clarify that a bit would be great!

Thanks again

No problem -

Just disable the other audio tracks (temporarily) by unchecking them.
